Are you ready to accept your next secret assignment on the slot from Play’n GO? Then hunt down two spies in the base game on Mission Cash by following them with your Wandering Crosshair. A hit will see them expand into full-reel wilds and trigger the respin feature. You will have the opportunity to catch more spies in the free spins round that can lead to wins of up to 5,000 times your bet.
Mission Cash is a video slot with five reels, three rows and 20 fixed pay lines. Wins are awarded for three to five matching symbols on a line from left to right only. You can join the secret agents on desktop, tablet or mobile devices from 0.20 to 100 credits per spin. The game has high volatility (9/10) with a default RTP of 96.65%. Some operators might choose to offer it at the lower RTP rate of 94.49%. Always check the help files to find out which version you will be playing.
The situation room of the spy agency with screens and controls is the backdrop to a semi-translucent game window. Agents Green, Purple, Red and Blue dominate the reels and will expand majestically when they are caught in the crosshairs. During the free spins mission, the scenery is changing to an outdoors scene at the shores of the River Thames with the Londoner skyline in the background. A James Bond-style soundtrack emphasizes the secret agent theme.
The pay symbols start at the low end with the card suits – clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades – awarding 1x to 2.5x your stake for a single five of a kind. They are followed by the four agents – Green, Purple, Red and Blue – at the high level. Hit five on a line to win 5x to 50x your bet when five land on a line. The agents will transform into expanded wilds during the features. A 5OAK will also pay 50x your bet. A pistol with a silencer acts as the scatter symbol.
The gameplay on Mission Cas evolves around the Wandering Crosshair, and that in the base game and free spins. On every spin in the base game, the crosshair moves around and stops on a random position. If it lands on Agent Blue or Agent Red, the symbol expands to fill the reel and becomes wild. This wild reel is then held in place for a Take The Shot respin. If crosshair lands again on Agent Blue or Agent Red symbols a second wild reel is created and another respin is triggered. This can repeat until all reels have become wild or the crosshair stops on any other symbol. A full screen of wild symbols pays 1,000 times your bet.
The Free Spin feature is triggered when the crosshair lands on a scatter symbol, either on a normal spin or a respin. The game awards eight free spins which can be retriggered when the crosshair hits again a scatter on a free spin. During the feature, the Take The Shot respin can be activated by all four agents, significantly increasing the chance to get wild reels and more wins.
Mission Cash is a rather simple creation from Play’n Go that relies completely on the crosshair to actually hit some decent wins. The graphics and animation are to the high standard we know from this developer, but for me personally, the game lacks some other feature that would complement the crosshair. As it is now, you could be going dozens and dozens of spins without a respin and then probably trigger the full-reel wild on the back reels where you will need then matching symbols in the front to even score a win.
