Slot Details

Diamond Mine Extra Gold Megaways All Action is a video slot with six reels and up to seven rows as well as 324 to 117,649 ways to win. Available on desktop, mobile and tablet, you can place bets from 10 to 100 credits per round based on default line stakes of 0,10 to 1. The maximum bet can be as high as 1,000 credits depending on what operators will allow. The game has high volatility with an RTP of 97.03%, which is slightly higher than the original.

The number of ways is randomly determined for every spin with the game engine selecting between two and seven pay symbols for reels 1 and 6 as well as two to six pay symbols for reels 2 to 5. Additionally, the game has an extra reel at the top of the game window with four positions, extending from reel 2 to 5, where more symbols appear on every spin. Wins are paid for two to six adjacent symbols from left to right only. The symbols from a winning combination will then explode to make room for new symbols to drop into place, potentially setting off a chain reaction that will lead to multiple winners in one spin sequence. This continues as long as a new winning combo occurs after a reaction.

A desert scenery in the rocky plains with blue skies and scattered cactuses serves as the backdrop to the game window that is placed in front of the entrance to the diamond mine. Typical digging items and diamonds dominate on the reels held in a wooden frame. A banjo soundtrack accompanies the usual reel and win count noises.

Blueprint kept the pay symbol set identical to the original, meaning that at the low end you will find the card royals from 9 through to A, awarding 0.8 to 1.75x your stake for single six of a kind. They are followed by a set of pickaxes and spades, oil lanterns, the bearded gold digger and a flashy diamond. Hit six across the reels to win 2x to 50x your bet.

A diamond stick is the wild symbol, appearing in the horizontal reel only and substituting for all regular pay symbols. A TNT barrel acts as the mystery symbol while a bag with gold nuggets serves as the scatter.

Diamond Mine Extra Gold Megaways All Action Slot Features

Opening the game will lead you straight to the bet selector where you can choose the cost for the feature, basically bypassing the main game. Called ‘All Action’ it will allow you to play bonus feature after bonus feature without going through the usual gameplay. Once confirmed, you will be presented with five dynamite bundles. You can pick one to reveal your prize, usually somewhere between 8 and 20 free spins.

Once the dynamite has exploded and revealed the number of free spins, the game will lead you to the Extra Gold gamble screen. A pie with green and red areas will appear, whereas the proportions show the true odds of winning the gamble. You can either press ‘Spin’ to gamble for more free spins until you reach 30 or ‘Take Spins’ to play the currently displayed number of free spins. Gambles up to 16 free spins will see you lose the entire feature if the arrow stops on red will further up you will get consolation prizes of 8, 12 and 16 free spins respectively.

The round will be played in the same fashion as on the original Diamond Mine Extra Gold Megaways slot. During the feature, scatters appear in the horizontal reel only. Three or four on a spin will award +5 and +10 free spins respectively. TNT Mystery symbols can appear at random on all reels on any free spin. They will reveal one common symbol once the reels have stopped, including the top paying symbol. However, they cannot turn into wild or scatter symbols. The main attraction though in the free spins is the unlimited progressive multiplier. It will start at x1 and increase by x1 after every winning reaction, no limits.

Final Verdict

Well, Blueprint Gaming was quick in releasing a second All Action game as it allows them to offer what is basically a Feature Buy option on regular slots. Although the UKGC banned the option in the United Kingdom, which is one of Blueprint’s largest market, the slight change in how the game is played seems to have passed the legal smell test at Blueprint HQ and up until now the UKGC. Question is how long will the bonanza last and at what point will the commission intervene again? Other than that, Diamond Mine Extra Gold Megaways All Action (damn’ long title) offers the usual solid Megaways action as we know it.
